The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, going out of their way to assist with any questions or requests I had. The room was spacious and comfortable, and I especially enjoyed the stunning view from the balcony. The hotel's location near the river and in the old town was perfect, with easy access to public transportation and shops just a short walk away. The basic amenities provided in the room were more than enough, and the breakfast offered a wide variety of options to start off the day.

Everything was absolutely fine.

We had a very spacious three beds room and only paid 100 euros per night! The room is very clean and we have a large balcony facing the mountain - excellent view point to enjoy the autumn colors.The stuff are very friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend this hotel to others.

Special thanks to lady who was willing to wait for me till 11 pm as I was still driving crazily at the german autobahn to reach the hotel. Overall, the hotel, although old, is quite comfortable with good size for three persons. The breakfast, too, is very good.

The building, rooms and furniture are from the early 80s. This does not mean that they are not comfortable. Nevertheless, people may expect to arrive in a well refurbished hotel.

Although an independent hotel it had the feel of a chain hotel. Unusual to have reception on 4th floor. Towels had seen better days.

During our romantic escape, we appreciated the hotel's complimentary travel voucher, which gave us access to explore the city so much easier. The staff was incredibly nice and helpful, making sure our stay was pleasant. we enjoyed the hotel's location, which allowed us to easily explore the old town and surrounding areas.

The hotel's interiors were very dated and in need of updating, which made the atmosphere uninviting. The amenities in our room were lacking, with thin towels and worn sheets that didn't offer much comfort.

Nice place for making the stop for the night, cross the street and you are in a nice little Old City with typical buildings. Free city-map with walkingroute and free bustransport for the region. Good breakfast. Big rooms.

Good price, confortable and clean room, breakfast ok; Gernsbach is a beautiful old village of Schwartzwald but the locatio of gasthaus is not so nice: hugly building in front of the hotel close the look.

We stayed in a hotel near a small, picturesque town with many incredible restaurants, and a river. the spacious room was spotlessly clean, and the comfortable beds were topped with crisp white linens. the friendly and professional staff provided a great breakfast with many food and drink choices and were attentive to our needs. there was a supermarket nearby and the hotel offered free tram tickets.
